A message from David
I am grateful that you have stopped by to take a look. I founded Narrative Coaching 20 years ago and continue to innovate. It is part of my life-long mission to advance our understanding of how to help humans mature. This matters more now than ever.Â
The world in which coaching was born, for example, is not the same world we live in now. This is why we have begun a transition process at the Institute. It will include more faculty, a new learning ecosystem, and more time for David to write and advise.
A great place to start is our BCE. The Beyond Coaching Experience is a free monthly session that offers a nourishing immersion in our work.

What we offer
The Narrative Coach® Program, David's legacy work. It will soon include an innovative Practice Space with support from our AI partner, Ovida.
The Design Studio, based in ID Way®,David's pioneering approach to learning & development. It will soon be available in a Studio Space for deepening our work with clients at any scale in a collective design process.Â
The Guiding Lights Retreat, an online retreat blends personal and professional development in a Healing Space. It is built around David's newest work, The Five Maturities, and deep experience with thresholds.
The Five Maturities®, a new paradigm for coach development. David is using it in projects, presentations and publications with EMCC, GSAEC, and others. If you’d like to learn more, check out his report here.
